The Revisions, Part I
ALT TEXT: A cluttered desk with notepads, scattered papers, and pens. Stacks of colorful books and a dark green journal labeled "Notes" add a scholarly ambiance.
It has begun.
I am currently doing revisions on a project of love. Above is a snapshot of my analog workspace. The two closest journals to the lens are my daily writing journals. The big one is for my morning brain dump, prioritizing my day and meditation. The smaller one is for when I'm out and about and need to jot something down, like an idea or an event or something to do later.
Scattered along the table are different pens, mock ups of blank tables I'm using for my project, piles of supplements and brain spark material (gotta love Knock!).
This is how I engage more than my head while I'm in my digital workspace. All senses are activated and I feel more alive here, while doing this part. The varying smells of each different pen, the feel of the different papers I touch, each one playing a part to bring this setting to life. I feel more alive and it reflects in my writing, thus breathing character into fictional realm.
Next time, I'll discuss my digital workspace, but first, I need to sharpen a colored pencil.
